Your child loves magic. Maybe they're just getting started. Maybe they've been learning from YouTube and kits for a while and are ready for what comes next.
Either way, we meet them where they are and help them start performing magic they're proud of.

No more bouncing between random tricks. Each week has one clear focus.

A quick trick for you at the kitchen counter. A “watch this” for a friend.

Small wins turn into steady progress and a kid who actually wants to keep going.
Most kids don’t struggle because they lack interest.
They struggle because learning alone often turns into:
Kids don’t need more tricks.
They need someone to guide them through the early steps.
We keep things simple on purpose.
In each lesson, we focus on one piece of magic at a time, with an instructor guiding your child through it — noticing what’s working, offering gentle adjustments, and helping the trick feel good to perform.
There’s no rush to move on and no pressure to “be ready.”
Progress comes from repetition, encouragement, and sharing magic with people they trust.
Over time, kids stop explaining the trick and start enjoying the moment of performing it.
We’re Annie and Brian — co-founders of School of Magic Arts, professional magicians, and lifelong performers.
Since 2017, we’ve taught 1000+ kids how to do magic in a way that builds confidence, not pressure. Our background spans theater, education, and sleight of hand, which means we care just as much about how a child feels performing as we do about the trick itself.
In 1:1 lessons, kids get their teacher's full attention. We notice when they’re rushing, when they’re stuck, and when they’re ready to be challenged. We adjust in real time so learning stays clear, supportive, and doable.

Our approach is especially helpful for kids who:
Whether your child is brand new to magic or already obsessed, they’ll be guided by instructors who know how to meet them where they are and help them feel proud of what they can do.

On a quick call or Zoom, we'll get to know your young magician and pick a teacher and a weekly day and time that fits your family.
Your child's first lesson happens in that weekly time, completely free. No pressure, no commitment.
Loved it? Confirm within 48 hours and your child's magic kit is on us. Lessons continue in the same weekly time, $175/month, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice.
As your young magician grows, they level up. When they're ready, they prepare two tricks, perform them in class, and earn a new magic kit with more advanced props.
Each kit has a curriculum that lasts 12-16 weeks. They advance when their skills are ready. And every time they level up, they know exactly how far they've come.

She told me on the way home that she's usually really nervous in public or when talking to new people. But when she does magic, she's not nervous at all.

My son loved everything about the magic class! His confidence level increased tremendously and it was wonderful to see him feeling proud about his magic tricks. His presentation skills improved as well!

She has gained self-confidence, something all her own to individuate from her sisters, and cool friends and mentors. We can’t wait to do it all again and highly highly recommend their services!

He really loves taking these classes, which has been great because we struggled finding something he would stick to. It really has been so wonderful for him!

No. The first lesson is free, and nothing is charged unless you decide to continue. If you do, we'll get billing set up and ship your child's kit so lessons keep going without a gap.
Yes. This isn’t “sit and listen.” Your child is doing magic with their hands the entire time, and lessons are short with a clear focus.
No. Whether your child is brand new to magic or has been teaching themselves tricks for years, lessons are built around where they are and what they need. We've worked with kids who learned their first trick in our trial lesson and kids who came in with a full YouTube repertoire. Both find value in having a teacher who can guide what they practice and how they perform it.
Most kids get through their first kit in 3 to 4 months, then level up to the next. After that, it depends on the kid. We've got students from February 2026 still going strong, and kids from our group programs who've stayed 5 to 6 years. There's no finish line here. It's more like an instrument or a sport, something they keep building on for as long as they love it.
This happens sometimes. Students get frustrated for many reasons. So we pause, take a breath, and chat for a minute to assess where they are getting stuck. Usually that's all that is needed to be able to have a win by the end of class. But, if we need to move to another trick, we do that, there's no reason to force it.
Most kids quit an activity when they stall out before they get any payoff. Every lesson here ends with something small they can actually do, and by the end of week one they've got a trick they can show someone. That first "watch this" moment is usually what keeps them coming back, not willpower.
