Weekly one-on-one magic lessons that turn curiosity into confidence, without overwhelm.

Month-to-month. Cancel with 30 days’ notice. No long-term contract.

No more bouncing between random tricks. Each week has one clear focus.

A quick trick for you at the kitchen counter. A “watch this” for a friend. A moment where they don’t freeze.

Small wins turn into steady progress and a kid who actually wants to keep going.
Your child loves magic.
But learning on their own often turns into:
Most kids don’t need more tricks.
They need structure, feedback, and a place to practice safely.
Magic Foundations is where kids learn how to learn magic.
Each week, we keep things simple:
Instead of rushing ahead, we help kids build skill without overwhelm — so confidence has time to grow.
Parents often notice:
We’re Annie and Brian — co-founders of School of Magic Arts, professional magicians, and lifelong performers.
Since 2017, we’ve taught thousands of kids how to do magic in a way that builds confidence, not pressure. Our background spans theater, education, and sleight of hand, which means we care just as much about how a child feels performing as we do about the trick itself.
In 1:1 lessons, kids get our full attention. We notice when they’re rushing, when they’re stuck, and when they’re ready to be challenged — and we adjust in real time so learning stays supportive and doable.

Our approach is especially helpful for kids who:
Whether your child is brand new to magic or already obsessed, they’ll be guided by instructors who know how to meet them where they are — and help them feel proud of what they can do.

Your child learns a trick they can do right away and gets comfortable learning on Zoom.
Short, focused sessions designed for attention and momentum.
Each week ends with a simple, doable practice goal.
Not a stage. Not a spotlight. Just learning to share magic comfortably with someone they trust.

She told me on the way home that she's usually really nervous in public or when talking to new people. But when she does magic, she's not nervous at all.

My son loved everything about the magic class! His confidence level increased tremendously and it was wonderful to see him feeling proud about his magic tricks. His presentation skills improved as well!

She has gained self-confidence, something all her own to individuate from her sisters, and cool friends and mentors. We can’t wait to do it all again and highly highly recommend their services!

He really loves taking these classes, which has been great because we struggled finding something he would stick to. It really has been so wonderful for him!

Yes. This isn’t “sit and listen.” Your child is doing magic with their hands the entire time, and lessons are short with a clear focus.
Absolutely. We focus on what most kids miss: how to practice, how to keep the secret, and how to present a trick so it actually feels magical.
That’s common. We work calmly and at your child’s pace — one focus, kind feedback, and room to regroup when needed.
We build momentum through small wins and clear direction. And because it’s month-to-month, there’s no pressure to force it.
Magic Foundations is month-to-month. Just give 30 days’ notice to pause or cancel.
